For our major project module, we had to choose a topic about love, examine this subject thoroughly, create a graphic artwork based on this topic, and present our final work in an exhibition called VISIONS OF LOVE. My goal was to show a country’s most prominent type of love in connection with ancient greek expressions to support my initial theory, that love is not 100% universal. The basic idea of love is a language understood by all, but the interpretation and valuation is not completely universal. It is interpreted and perceived differently, depending on cultural backgrounds. Therefore some specific types of love play a more important role for some cultures, causing different countries to have their own ideal type of love.
-How do we love?
